Well, this past weekend will be a weekend I’ll never forget. Seriously. No, not because my feet hurt or that I seriously sprained my leg, or that I managed to get by on a few hours of sleep a night. Nope.Seriously, if you want to see how something should be done, will, turn to TotalBeauty.  This weekend blogging summit will put all others, both past and future to shame. Professional, an amazing location, amazing hosts (thanks to Intelligent Beauty who hosted the event at their amazing spa like offices, to the presenters, the party, the dinners, the …. well everything.So much happened, (did you follow my twitters?) Yep, I know my cell phone kept dying on me, but I tried. Thursday PM200805190915A total treat was planned at the Nelson J. Salon thanks to Total Beauty. Actually, I was the most looking forward to this because I really never have time to do something like this for myself. The staff was super friendly and sweet, and I got the tour of the salon.So much thought was put into this place. The Aveda salon has a separate dryer free zone section of the salon for a more quiet experience.  How thoughtful is that? Also, they have a private coloring room with it’s own venting system for colors and highlights and processing so that smells do not disturb the other clients.  But the best? Their flat shampoo chairs at the shampoo stations.  At first I thought this can’t really do much, but seriously, who know that lying flat while getting shampooed can be sooo relaxing?? Also, a nice touch and totally remembered for days later was the hot towel that’s placed under your neck as they shampoo and did the hair treatment and massage.  Truly, a nice touch that all salons everywhere should do.  Yes, really. They should.Then it was off to strawberry margaritas at the formerly El Torito of Beverly Hills now named something else, but honey, in Beverly Hills, this ain’t your normal El Torito.  Fancy smancy and total fun to chat and catch up with Michele of all lacquered up, Teri of Splendicity, and Nancy of Beauty411.FridayFriday I was so impressed with my manicure (and yes, she’s Christina  Acquielera’s manicurist! ) Most manicures I get, my nails look exactly the same after.. really. Please. This one? Amazing. Absolutely amazing.  So amazing that I went back Friday am to get acrylics put on.  Since I have an issue with my nails, I decided to bite the bullet and get them done. They’re now perfect…..Then off to the Total Beauty offices to set up for a PR photo shoot for some of our members.  My highlight on Friday? Getting to treat our members to a mini quickie makeup session before they got their new PR pictures taken. I hope the quick 5 minutes per (ok, I took 15) per girl was enough to get them looking all diva fabulous for their photos… So much fun to get to do what I love on my members!Then off to the Anatasia Salon in Beverly Hills to get a sneak peek… One lucky girl was pulled from the group for an Anatasia herself eyebrow makeover.. the buzz of the whole night. I was glad I went, because I got to see their procedures and also realized that I do eyebrows completely different on my clients…Also, had a celebrity sighting when Billy Baldwin walked in the salon, dark glasses, blue jeans and a white t-shirt, spoke to the receptionist and then suddenly turned and walked out. I quess our little group scared him, and I was the only one who saw him, but I swear! I did see him!  I always see celebrities wherever I go for some weird reason… and yep, he’s still as cute as ever.200805190907Then it was off to the hotel, for major party action. Held at the offices of Intelligent Beauty, well, let me just say I so want to work for this company one day. They sure know how to throw a party. And where else but LA do you see a bar in someone’s business office? So gotta love them.200805190914The party was loud, jam packed and so much fun.  Paul from BeyondBeautyBasic turned to me and whispered, “this party is fantastic. are all parties in LA like this?”  yep, I think so.
