Makeup Makes Me Happy

1. What made you start your blog?

I started my blog as a dedication to a passion of mine that has existed since receiving my first Bonnebell lipgloss at the age of 4. I have always been a makeup and beauty product devotee and I thought it would be great to bring my knoweledge, advice and point of view to a broader public. Seeing other beauty and makeup blogs on the internet is what really sent my motivation through the roof!

2. WHY do you blog?

Other than makeup, writing has always been a true passion. I have yet (knocking on wood) faced any type of writer’s block with my blog. I blog and write freely and love every result. It comes naturally and in no way is it fabricated. At the end of the day, knowing that people will check in with you for advice, or a boost of confidence and self esteem is the ultimate reward for me. I do this for my readers FIRST, and then for my own pleasure second.

3. What is your all time fav product?

Oh boy thats a toughie! But if I had to choose I would say my Rosebud Salve lip balm…a true classic!

4. What is the coolest thing that’s happened to you because of your blog?

I turned my blog into a full fledged website, landed a deal and started my own new-media company Foxy Media™ which will include a branch of sites for women, and am in the works of creating my own mineral makeup line. Not to mention being invited to become a Beauty Blog Network member in record time…not so bad for being the new kid on the block.
