Illuminate The World
The Estee Lauder Companies‘ Global Landmark Illumination Initiative began in 2000 and this year Estee Lauder will illuminate over 200 landmarks around the world in pink lights as a reminder to women to practice breast health.
Every year, Evelyn Lauder and Elizabeth Hurley, Spokesmodel for Estee Lauder and The Estee Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, travel around the world meeting customer and illuminating landmarks in pink lights.
Key 2008 Landmark Illuminations include:
o Bloomingdale’s 59th Street Store
o The Concert Hall in Amsterdam
o Belvedere Castle in Austria,
o GwangAn Bridge in Korea,
o Kuala Lumpur Tower in Malaysia
o The Burj Al Arab in the Middle East
o The Tower of London
o The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston
o Los Angeles Airport Pylons
o The Taj Palace Hotel and Tower in Mumbai, India
To date, BCRF has raised over $220 million for cutting-edge medical and scientific research. On October 28th, BCRF will give away more than $34 million to 166 stellar scientists from around the world.
